Product Overview
The SG2401 is a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to meet the networking needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. It offers 24 standard 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports and one 1000Base-X SFP optical uplink port.
This switch features a DIP switch that allows for the adjustment of the transmission rate of ports 1-24 to 10 Mbps, enabling a maximum transmission distance of 250 meters over existing twisted pairs. In this mode, ports 1-22 are mutually isolated, but each can still communicate with the uplink ports (23-24 and the SFP port). This configuration helps effectively isolate collision and broadcast domains, reducing broadcast storms and improving overall network communication efficiency. The SG2401 is an ideal choice for video surveillance networking in environments such as hotels, shops, supermarkets, homes, and small to medium-sized businesses.
