The CG402 is a reliable single mode fiber media converter designed to facilitate high-speed data communication. It features two 1.25Gbps SFP fiber ports and four 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports, enabling seamless connectivity between 1000Base-T twisted-pair cables and 1000Base-SX/LX optical cables. This converter significantly extends the maximum transmission distance from 100 meters over twisted-pair cables to an impressive 120 kilometers when using optical fibers.
The CG402 is easy to install and operate, supporting plug-and-play functionality with no additional configuration required. All optical fiber and Ethernet port interfaces comply with international standards, ensuring broad compatibility.
