The CG202 is a robust 1 Gig media converter designed to facilitate seamless data communication. It features two 1.25Gbps fiber optic ports and two 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports, enabling connectivity between 100Base-TX twisted pairs and 1000Base-FX optical cables. The CG202 significantly extends the maximum transmission distance of networks from the 100-meter limit of twisted pairs to up to 120 kilometers when utilizing fiber optic cables.
This plug-and-play device is user-friendly and requires no additional configuration, making it easy to set up. All fiber optic ports comply with international standards, ensuring reliability.
